Be a LEAF for a Day!
Submitted By Karie McDougall on Thursday, October 5, 2017
Ever thought about playing in the NHL?  It is a dream for many hockey players to play under the bright lights, the giant scoreboard and in a packed arena of over 20,000 fans.   Now you have the chance to feel what it’s like to play on the Maple Leafs ice at the Air Canada Centre, thanks to Under Armour’s Storm the Centre program. Under Armour’s Storm the Centre is an online competition where Minor Bantam and Bantam hockey teams can earn the chance to play on the same ice as their hockey heroes. The Toronto Maple Leafs and Under Armour will host the seven week long competition that kicks off on October 2nd and runs through November 17th.

Winning is all about telling your team’s story the best. Coaches, players, and their parents upload videos and photos to five content specific Chapters that make up their stories. The more content in each Chapter, the better chance of their team winning. Teams that go above and beyond will be awarded Under Armour gear. After the seven week competition, two winning teams will spend a day at Air Canada Centre where they’ll practice and train. Then, they’ll compete on the same ice as the pros in the Armour Cup.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for teams. Don’t miss out!
