Submitted By Karie McDougall on Monday, January 1, 2018
Reward your team for staying out of the penalty box this season.
Playing penalty free not only helps you out on the ice but now, thanks to the OMHA Penalty Free Contest, you can enter to win prizes for fair play and sportsmanship!

The Hockey Development Centre for Ontario is pleased to announce the official launch of the 2018 Penalty Free Sweepstakes contest. The Sweepstakes program is a provincial safety initiative created to promote fair play, skills, safety and sportsmanship in amateur hockey throughout Ontario. The Penalty Free Sweepstakes is an opportunity for all involved in hockey to foster the values of this initiative which encourages and rewards amateur hockey teams for staying out of the penalty box.

Statistics indicate that teams from all ages and levels of amateur hockey in Ontario who have entered the contest have either won or tied their games, demonstrating that fair play and good sportsmanship is not only rewarding but can substantially increase the chance of being successful on the ice.
