2017 Etobicoke Bulldogs Tournament Major Bantam Jets Silver Finalists

Congratulations to The Unionville Jets Major Bantam Team who celebrated their wonderful achievement of Silver Finalists in the 2017 Etobicoke Bulldogs Tournament held on April 7th - 9th, 2017. The Major Bantam Jets commenced the tournament with a 2-2 tie vs. Victoria Village, followed by a 1-0 victory in a tensely contested game vs. the Tournament’s host team, the Etobicoke Bulldogs.

The final round robin game was played against the powerhouse Oshawa Hawks who had previous lopsided victories of 8-1 and 7-1 vs both Victoria Village and Etobicoke. The Bantam Jets played the Hawks to a very close 4-0 score, setting the stage for a thrilling Finals re-match. Although the Championship Final game was closer than the 5-0 score would indicate, the Bantam Jets played with intense focus, with heart, and pride, while battling through adversity to win Silver, and proudly representing our UMHA Association and our wonderful Unionville Community.
