Minor Peewee Jets Help Hockey with Heart Food Drive
Submitted By Voula Bertsoulakis on Thursday, November 29, 2018
In support of Hockey with Heart and their fantastic community involvement efforts, UMHA hockey players and families from the Minor Peewee Jets team spent a morning helping out with Bag Prep for the upcoming Food Drive that supports families in the Markham community.

Players and families traded hockey sticks and skates for staplers, bags and flyers and prepped many, many donation bags!!!  These bags will be delivered to homes in our community over the next two weeks with the hopes of households filling them with food items and/or new, unwrapped toys.

Coach Heather said she feels fortunate to coach an amazing group of kids!  Players came before their practice or stayed later after practice giving back to the community.
