Toronto Maple Leaf - Learn to Play Program - UPDATE
Submitted By Voula Bertsoulakis on Thursday, April 25, 2019
UPDATE - TML Learn to Play Program now open to players born in 2010 and new to hockey!

The Unionville Minor Hockey Association is thrilled to announce it will be partnering with the Toronto Maple Leafs for yet another season to offer any new to hockey players in our community an opportunity to participate in the "Learn to Play" Program!

This will be the third year the UMHA has partnered with the Toronto Maple Leafs to give those players in our community a chance to give the game of hockey a try for the first time!

The program offers players aged 4 to 9, head to toe protective gear, skates, helmets, stick and bag for a nominal program fee.  This fee also includes a visit from TML alumni!  The program is open to children that are new to hockey and have never registered with a minor hockey association in the past.  Please note, the TML - Learn to Play program fee is in addition to UMHA registration fees for the 2019-2020 season.  Players must register for the UMHA House League program in order to participate in the Learn to Play program.

For those new to hockey registrants that already have their equipment and/or wish to purchase their own, there is no obligation to participate in the Learn to Play program and purchase hockey equipment from TML.

PLEASE NOTE - TML equipment pick-up is tentatively scheduled for September 12 - 14, 2019 and is expected to be held at the Coca Cola Coliseum (Exhibition Place).  For those participating, program payment would be made to the TML group at the time of pick-up.

Any questions can be forwarded to our office at [email protected]

Looking forward to another great season!
