Support Our Community
Submitted By Voula Bertsoulakis on Monday, April 20, 2020
Dear UMHA Families,

During these challenging times, it is important for our hockey community to come together to support each other.  Please support the Markham Waxers with their donation drive for: healthcare providers; those people who rely on the food bank to feed their families; and the youth who need shelter, mental health support, and education services.

Please see below for more information and click on the link.

To kick our #WaxersFightCovid19 donation drive into high gear, we are fortunate to have garnered support from some player graduates of the Waxers: Steven Stamkos, Jonathan Ang, Brendan and Cameron Gaunce, and Cody Hodgson. Please accept their challenge by supporting this effort to provide essential funds for those in need within our own community!

Please visit our website to view videos from the former Waxers.

Share the news and challenge your friends and family on social media by using the hashtag #WaxersFightCovid19.

Thank you again to all of our hockey families. As we look forward to next season,
please stay active and please be safe; wash your hands, stay home, and practice social distancing so we can all get back to the rink as soon as possible.
